Russia has announced its intention to return to the UN-sanctioned deal that guarantees the safety of Ukrainian wheat exports via the Black Sea.
Russia’s supposed decision to quit the pact came on the heels of a Ukrainian attack on the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, conducted using a miniature drone swarm of nine air-based and seven sea-based UAVs. The apparent target of the attack was the Admiral Makarov, a Grigorovich-class frigate capable of launching Kalibr cruise missiles and the presumed new flagship of the Black Sea Fleet following the sinking of the Moskva in May.
