This ‘halcyon ideal’ of technology that reduced employment, more educated youth to become unemployed, instant access to information via the Internet, etc. was always a hollow dream of the world’s corporate and banking elites, fostered by the media elites.

Now that the banking elites have succeeded in almost bringing their own system down around their ears, the hollowness of that dream is becoming apparent. Youth always lead revolution. Present elites will do all in their power to delay that, incl. ‘police state’ type solutions, but in the end finite resources and stupid economics will lead to a logical conclusion. Revolutions of any sort are unpredictable and that’s where we are now, in the midst of the most widespread unpredictability since the world wars.

I wonder, just what the oligarchs have in mind for all the youth? The percentage of youth far outstrip the ones who control the productivity and will continue to do so. How long before there isn’t any viable taxpaying/revenue producing workforce to sustain the oligarchs? Seems like this is akin to "Murphy’s Law, but again, when will it become the total sum of things?
