However, i have different view for the future, than what the author considered.

Because America will have more oil and gas produced in northern America due to new technology to pump out oil/gas under its own land.

Therefore, there will not be a live-or-die fight for oil energy from the US side to secure its need from Africa.

While the need of oil from India, though not critical, but will be as important as for China, the number two economy of the world, when India is growing into the 3rd largest economy of the world in the next decades.
