FLASH: OPEC Goes Rogue on Trump, Keeps Production Steady

OPEC and its close allies, often referred to as “OPEC+,” ended their meeting in Algiers over the weekend with a pledge to hold production levels steady.

Oil prices were up around 2% after the announcement, with Brent crude reaching $80.94 per barrel – its highest level since November 2014.

The decision to hold steady will undoubtedly anger US President Trump, who had been taking to Twitter to urge the cartel to increase production and keep global prices down.
