Just like what happened with W Bush, Harper will leave behind a country in ruins. This imbecile is destroying the excellent Canadian Medical System it enjoyed, and is now promoting the WORST possible copy of the US by draining resources from the Medical system, and allowing the lethal corporations from the US to offer their private insurance to cover what the Canadian State services used to cover.
It is amazing this Harper idiot would try to copy THE WORST possible example of a system in the whole world, as it is the US medical system with the least number covered, and most expensive per capita.

Seems like for last several years Canada’s immigration has turned out to be a way to bolster vote bank. The purpose of the immigration is to get skilled workers where there is labor shortage. Canada is bringing in 250,000 people every year. Take a close look who is benefiting from this. Is this a way to bring skilled immigrants? Absolutely NOT. In fact main groups who are benefiting from this are the communities that has larger population in Canada namely Filipino, Punjabi, etc. Why we are seeing only few groups taking advantage of immigration? Because the local MPs advocate for their communities to bring more people from their home countries. We are already seeing negative impact of this. Under some fancy names tories were bringing temporary workers particularly from these groups for example live in caregiver program, Temporary foreign worker program etc and news media did a good job to reveal the scam. Average academic and professional qualifications of these immigrants representing bigger communities is far below immigrants from smaller communities. Canadian high school students continue to lose jobs to these particular immigrant groups. Canada should take note from US because for example in US Diversity Visa Program — if a country reach 50,000 quota it cant qualify to participate anymore. If Canada doesnt amend the immigration program then unskilled people from these 3rd world countries will continue to increase to a point when there will be a point of no return.
