Elizabeth May and the Green Party have been the strongest on foreign policy. Trudeau, who is unfortunately very different from his father, seems to have no interest in the subject. Nevertheless, he did at least promptly dismiss a proposal from Stephen Harper to ban travel to areas affected by terrorism-a ridiculous ploy to keep harping (no pun intended) on security fears, exploiting and leveraging xenophobia – the prime minister’s real specialties
