biased article aiming to malign Pakistan
which is one of the most important foreign policy imperative of India. Baseless
allegations highlighting personal views of the writer without any concrete
evidence is just Indian sponsored propaganda against Pakistan. All the steps being taken
by the recent Afghan and Pakistani government clearly amplifies the fact that
both countries are serious to improve relations with each other through common
security initiatives while Pakistan
has remained totally forthcoming and sincere to comply with all initiatives
which would be economically prosperous for Afghanistan. The sacrifices given
by Pakistani Armed Forces to establish peace in Afghanistan is also a case in
point.

The nearest motorable route into China over this range is through Pakistan over the khujarab(sp) pass at about 16,000 feet which the Chinese and Pakistanis built at a considerable expense years ago but which is hindered by numerous landslides and road closers during the rainy season. They are planning an improved road that connects the port of Gwader(sp) in the south which the Chinese recently developed with a modern facility. Why not connect up with the existing road system rather than develop a new road through the middle of no place at great expense.
